Hello Ralph Series Riders!

We hope you're having a great end of summer and are looking forward to another productive session with Ralph.  The next clinic is this upcoming weekend (September 10-11) at Schweiss Magister Equitum Stables (http://www.schweissstables.com/) .  For directions,  see their web site and look under About Us, Directions (or click here http://www.schweissstables.com/directions.php). Double check that your GPS gives you similar directions.

The schedule & groups are below.  Stabling is $30 for an overnight stall, and $20 for a day stall.  Contact Liz Lund for your stabling requests.

Aug 6-7 at Focused Riding, Jane & Dave Braddock's

Hello Ralph Series Riders!

We hope you've had a good July and are looking forward to another productive session with Ralph.  The next clinic is this upcoming week-end at Jane & Dave Braddock’s Focused Riding Center.  It is located at N3247 875^th St, Hager City, WI, 54014.  It is about 20 min west of Prescott, 20 min south of River Falls, and 10 min north of Red Wing, MN.

The schedule & groups are below.  When you arrive, please look for someone to help you park smart so as to best use the space available.  While there’s a quite a bit of room, there won’t be if we’re not efficient about it.  

Stabling is limited at Focused Riding.  Stalls have been assigned based on distance of travel to the clinic.  There are some on-site accommodations and 4 more stalls “down the road” at a private farm that has graciously offered to accommodate us.  We also have room for 2 more people overnight in our “Rider Lodge” for $25/person.  Let me (Jane) know if you’re interested. It’s a trailer house with 2 bedrooms, a full bath and a kitchen.  Not fancy but comfy.

Hello Ralph Series Riders!

We hope you've had a good start to your show season and are looking forward to another productive session with Ralph.  The next clinic is this upcoming week-end at Julie & Ron Stenslie's Wildwood Equestrian Center.  The farm is located at 16850 Territorial Road, Osseo MN.  One bit to note when coming to the farm, the driveway is NOT off of Territorial Road, it is off of Highway 81.  There is a big, orange traffic cone on the mailbox.  So please check your directions before coming and contact Jen Johnson or Julie if you have questions about directions.  

Also, as a reminder, your checks for the second half of the session, that you gave us in March, are to be deposited on June 11th.  Please make whatever arrangements are needed to ensure you have sufficient funds to cover the checks.  The amount is for $600.  

The schedule & groups are below.  When you arrive at Julie's farm, please look for the Parking Master, Ron.  The parking can be tight, but we will all fit if we allow Ron to help us arrange our trailers just so.  So, as you pull in, if you don't see someone to help with parking, PLEASE DO NOT just park yourself.  We will be with you shortly.

Hello Ralph Hill Training Series Riders!!!

Our first weekend is almost here!  This weekend (5/7-8) we’re at Trophy Hill, 9650 134th Street, Cologne, MN 55322.

Email if you need directions.

IMPORTANT to note:

1)      Your scheduled ride time is below.

2)      A PDF Release form was sent in an email to riders.  This is the release for this weekend. If you’re under 18, you need a parent to sign release. ALL RIDERS MUST submit a signed release before mounting up.

3)      We’re missing coggins from just a couple of you.  You MUST give a copy of a 2011 coggins to Jane, Jen or Liz BEFORE you unload your horse on the property. No coggins = no ride.

4)      You’re invited to join us for a Saturday evening dinner with Ralph either on the grounds or out to a local restaurant (plans are still solidifying – it’s DERBY Time!)

5)      Please plan on jump crewing for one session each day or volunteering in some other way this weekend (Fri eve set up, Sat eve set up, Sun afternoon clean up, etc).  Contact Liz Lund (eventrider@lizlund.com) for volunteer opportunities.

6)      It’s Ralph’s birthday today – so send him good b-day vibes today!

Texas Riders Sing Ralph's Praises

Ralph recently gave a clinic in Texas, and the riders are over the top describing their experiences.  Here's a quote from one of the riders in a Chronicle of the Horse forum discussion. 

"HOT DANG!!!!"

The clinic was absolutely AMAZING!!!! He instilled confidence in every horse and rider. I took my young horse not knowing what to expect and came away amazed at my horses ability!

Thanks to everyone who applied to the Ralph Hill Training Series!  We are a "GO" for all training sessions this year (see previous posts for dates and specifics).  If you applied to the program, you should have received an email from Jen Johnson confirming your entry status for the program.  Ralph is excited to meet those of you he's not met yet, and to continue working with those he has.
